I ridiculed him
Laughed at his clothes
Made a mockery of
His personality
Made faces at him
Said nasty things
To hurt his feelings
He smiled and kept mum
Did not utter a single word
That made me angry
Increased my arrogance
I abused him
He kept his cool
Fed up
With his cool behavior
Ultimately asked him
Why is he not reacting?
He did not reply
Just walked away
Smiling
Made me think
My best efforts
Could not provoke him
Whereas his silence
Irritated and provoked me
Made me behave
Like an animal
What I could not achieve?
By anger and arrogance
He achieved by silence
